Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Requirements

  1. CNA / STNA OR HHA CERTIFICATION
  2. CPR Card
  3. Covid Vaccine Card if Available
  4. 1-step TB test. A copy if you have had one done within 12 months.
  5. SS card
  6. Driver’s license
  7. Auto insurance card
  8. High School diploma or GED
  9. Ohio Finger print background check -BCI Code to use is 5123.081

Qualification

  1. Meets the training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws.
  2. At least 18 years of age.
  3. With at least 2 years’ experience in providing direct care services to patients with developmental disabilities or in a home health agency.
  4. Must not have crimes listed on the BCI report & be free of sex offender upon verification
  5. Does not have an active case of TB as verified either with a PPD or X-ray report.
  6. Has completed a CPR and First Aid course successfully in the past 12 months.
  7. Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
  8. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  9. Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and the impaired.
  10. Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
  11. Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization requirements and is in good working order.
